When it comes to planning a holiday, one of the most important thing for me is to plan on what food and where I could try. Food really gives so much insight into the lives of locals. And when I eat in a place that is mostly known to locals, I feel like I have gotten to know the city a bit better. Berlin has recently upped its brunch scene and so I had to research the best brunch places in Berlin. What is better than to start the day with a tummy full.

You would wonder why I have so many places on my list when I am only visiting for 4 days. But imagine walking around in the morning and wandering off to an area you had not originally planned to be – what could be worse than not having a place to eat immediately? And so the long long list of the best brunch places in Berlin.

When you are on a holiday who wants to wake up at 8am and head to the hotel’s buffet breakfast eh? Especially when you are in Berlin – a city known for it brunch scene. Berliners take their brunch super seriously, proof lies in the ever-increasing best places for brunch in Berlin.

1. Commonground
