One-liner: Originally one of the first places starting the trend of third wave cafes in Berlin, The Barn serves some great single origin coffee alongside sandwiches and desserts. There is a ‘NO LAPTOP’ policy – which is very nice making the atmosphere very social.
2. Distrikt Coffee

One-liner: This café with its exposed bricks and beautiful industrial interior serves some superb coffee alongside some amazing breakfast dishes and desserts. The bread pudding is delicious here. A must when in Mitte.
3. Father Carpenter Coffee Brewers
Address: Münzstraße 21, 1st backyard 10178 Mitte
One-liner: This café tucked away in a pretty looking courtyard, serves some amazing coffee. Very friendly service with some really yummy cakes and bakes. The vegan banana bread with the chia raspberry jam and homemade peanut butter goes exceptionally well with any of their delicious coffees
4. Oslo Kaffebar

One-liner: Oslo Kaffebar serves some amazing coffees alongside some great music and uses coffees from Berlin roasteries such as The Barn and Bonanza. The interior is warm with wood all over and often the sound of vinyl.

One-liner: Modern look, contemporary music and amazing coffee. Perfect place to rest after a walk around Checkpoint Charlie.
